WE RECYCLE

At Angelo’s Paving, Inc we continually seek ways to be an environmentally responsible company. To do our part in reducing waste, we currently recycle all of our own materials. There are a variety of benefits in recycling concrete rather then dumping it or burying it in a landfill.Keeping concrete debris out of landfills saves landfill space. By using recycled material, we can help reduce the need for gravel mining. And using recycled concrete as the base material for roadways reduces the pollution involved in trucking material, helping to promote cleaner air. Similarly, asphalt recycling reduces our consumption of scarce natural resources (aggregate and asphalt) and simultaneously keeps millions of tons of material out of US landfills.

How do we do it?

Using the latest specialized equipment, we take the blacktop and concrete that we remove from job sites and crush it up. We are then able to reuse the finely pulverized material. In addition to helping the environment, this practice benefits our customers by allowing us to pass on savings to them and keep our prices competitive. It is also important to note that there is no reduction in quality associated with the use of recycled concrete and blacktop.

In fact, The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) supports and promotes the use of recycled highway materials in pavement construction in an effort to preserve the natural environment, reduce waste, and provide a cost-effective material for constructing highways and other related projects.
